  • Level 150 Course is designed as a hand's on tool for coaches to help them develop tools for planning practices and practice activities. In addition to hands-on experience, the course comes with a skill resource library and a coaches practice planning template.
  • Peter Baggetta will offer sessions to improve your club's training sessions and game play. Peter has been coaching rugby for 16 years and has been the head coach at Gonzaga since 2009.  During his six+ years, Gonzaga has won the 2014 National Championship, as well as making three finals and six straight semi-final appearances in the National Championship.  Peter has worked with teams at all levels both in the United States and around the world. He was the assistant coach for the US Women’s National team at the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup and was the former National Team Coach and Rugby Development Officer for Guam where he was instrumental in creating the national team program and establishing rugby as a varsity interscholastic sport for Guam middle and high schools. Peter also worked as the defense specialist coach for USA Rugby from 2008 to 2010, and as an IRB coach educator for the USA Rugby Coach Development Program from 2007 to 2011. In 2009 Peter was the Assistant Director of Rugby at Penn State University.

Level 1 Officiating Course

A referee Level 1 Officiating Course will also be held in Collegeville on the same day for the beginner referee and/or a coach, fan, parent, player that would like to learn more about the game! You are not required to referee any matches if you are unwilling. We are looking for young referees thou, so if you identify some of your young players that might not make it to the Olympics next year, please steer them to this officiating course on August 15th. They probably have more of a chance of making it as a referee than a player.
